Leon Knight

Well my second stop on the FLW Tour this year at Beaver Lake in Rogers AR was quite an experience. Fishing in the east appears to be a lot different than fishing out west. Given three days to practice on a lake you've never been to is like craming for a test the night before. I think with the tough competition and unfamiliar waters you have to learn fast. I am confident fishing the FLW Tour gives me no choice but to be a better angler. I started off my first day of practice with 70 degree air temp and I was catching two bass at a time on the same crankbait. It was a lot of fun. Then the weather changed and it was 30 degrees and hailing. I was never quite able to get back on the fish and I ended up finishing 99 out of a feild of 158 Pro's. With two Tour events under my belt my next stop is Lake Hartwell in South Carolina. I am already doing my homework on Hartwell and I am excited about the opportunity to be competing against some of the best anglers in the world. I know anything worthwhile does'nt come easy. I thank God who continues to give me hope in my heart that I will be sucessfull, and a wife that supports me 100%.
