"I'm taking Calculus II, Physics and Calculus I, Physics lab, and Intermediate Conversation and Chinese conversation" he said.
Choi is quite the conversation starter already. At just 12-years old, he's enrolled as a freshman at F.I.U. in Miami. He's quizzed quite a bit about his age. "How old are you? Then they say, wow!"
But, what about a social life? You don't find many kids on a college campus. He told CBS4 Mojo Jim Robinson, "Most of my friends are at FIU."
As Choi walks the halls of the Graham Center, heading to class, he's greeted by other college students, "What's up brother, are you alright?" a man asked.
High school at age 9, and graduating in May, Choi already had dual enrollment at F.I.U. when he was 11. Thursday is his Chinese conversation class. He's learning with about six others in his class, all much older than him.
"They don't have the same experience with childhood, or growing up so I think that might be one of the biggest challenges," Li Ma, the Professor of the class told CBS4 News.
