Joke Gym

Continue with open MIC. Barry Wisenberg I think was up 4th. they don't give a spelling so sorry Barry. Barry was king of the one liners and although he didn't have a sold act down he had some good one liners and had a good strong voice to keep the crowd going. It looked like a manifesto of notes he brought on stage. easy 100 pages. He had good energy and talked about smoking crack which I always love. Good job Barry.

5th up was Bobby Oliver who teaches the joke gym. She has a good southern voice and stands off stand in the audience so she's comfortable. She talked about Holiday Burger so I had a good laugh. She also teaches at the ICE House. She talks about being fat, stalkers and hating herself.

6th in line was Patrick Hill, a name I can spell! He seemed comfortable but had his head down and read his notes too much. He was the 1st to get heckled by the crowd. His first laugh was 3 minutes into the set. Talked about his dad being drunk. His delivery was too quick and he didn't finish the 5 minutes bc he ran out of material. That day was a "4".

7th up was Rudy Bowmen who says he works at JPL. He looks like David Berkowitz the serial killer. He was very comfortable on stage, had good jokes, knew when laugh, timing was good. Ran out at 3 minutes but free Styled. He was one of the better comics that night.
